A chance discovery during a camping trip at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park near Thunder Bay.  Fallen branches of birch near our campsite, collected for use as kindling,  were polka-dotted with red fungi dots.  Later searches for similarly spotted wood came up empty.  

Framed in paper birch, commercially sourced.
