Biography

Lee Angold is a botanical artist, nature journalist and scientific communicator. 

Lee’s art practice explores the natural world and impacts of human activity and climate

change, through drawing, painting and video. In her studio practice, she creates detailed

and intricate, bold and colourful realistic illustrations of natural science subjects. 

She complements her studio work with an active nature journaling and urban sketching

practice, while as well documenting her explorations and discoveries through video and

accompanying text.
