On The Skin Of Giants
Everyday, when you go outside you pass trees, many trees in fact, but you've never really thought about them. They pass by like an afterthought. You might appreciate the scenery, but have you ever taken the time and really looked at the trees around you. Have you ever noticed the fungi or the lichen that grows on them. How about some of the animals, like the birds or the mammals, that depend on the foliage and/or seeds of these trees to survive.
Well, I'm excited to say that I'm doing an art exhibition named (*it's pretty obvious) On The Skin Of Giants.
In this exhibition, I am exploring the hidden worlds of tree bark. The purpose of this exhibition is to open the eyes of people to see the beauty of the environment and for people to appreciate more of the ecosystem that can be found anywhere.
It is opening on July 26, from 5:30 to 7pm. It will continue until August 23, 2024.
This exhibition is being held at the Buttons Factory Arts, at 25 Regina St S,
Waterloo, Ontario.
